Food Safety

Under the guidance of the California Food Code, the Environmental Health & Safety Office applies these regulation in order to safeguard public health and provide our campus community members, and its visitors, safe and unadulterated food. The Temporary Food Permit Program is in place to ensure Registered Campus Organizations and other campus partners serving food to the general public are following safe food handling procedures. Private events, such as office events and organizational meetings, do not need to obtain a Temporary Food Permit
